Before you ask, no, I don’t sleep much.

 

I’ve been rapping for almost as long as I’ve been playing the piano, and it’s taken me all over the world. Much of that was in the form of rap battles – quick-witted exchanges of rhyming insults, for the uninitiated.

 

I’ve battled in front of 600 people at the centre of European Parliament in Brussels, flown to the U.S. several times, and performed at the Edinburgh Fringe, as well as in Amsterdam, Strasbourg, and Berlin.

 

My recorded rap career includes two self-produced albums, Tidings and Good Grief, both of which are available below.

 

As an MC, I’ve supported the likes of Rizzle Kicks and Rag’n’Bone Man, and I’ll be appearing on chap-hop stalwart Professor Elemental’s new record, Nemesis, as, well, his nemesis. I also ran the popular live-band Hip-Hop open mic Chicken Grease Presents: Prime Cuts, which featured international and local artists.

I’m also the schmuck who proposed to his now-wife in a rap battle. So there’s that too. I’ve also worked with non-profits like Radio Free Brighton, EU40, and Sussex Community Rail Partnership to help make their message a little more pleasant on the ears.
